We cannot be all things to all people, and RFID, biometrics, remote sensing and cyber security overlap a lot of different technologies. So if you see us referring to some WiFi engineers with another vendor, a couple of grad students at Emory or William and Mary - or getting network engineers at G-6 Communications for securing your firewalls - its because we want you to have the best team available for the job at hand.
William and Mary is a public research university located in Williamsburg, Virginia. Privately founded in 1693 by letters patent issued by King William III and Queen Mary II, it is the second-oldest institution of higher education in the United States after Harvard University. W&M has a great faculty and campus, and Midstream works with the Applied Science and Biology Departments.
G-6 Communications is a veteran owned small business out of Ossian, Indiana (south of Fort Wayne). Quite simply - some of the best network engineers around. This group plugs into a network and starts using the command line interface of a router like it was their first language.
Securityhunter is a great team out of Baltimore, Maryland that provides a wide array of security services, from access control systems to video surveillance to intrustion detection systems. They've been around a few decades - with the expertise to show for it.
You know that RFID software you have been looking for? That right price point between tons of functionality, combined with a good user interface, plus plenty of ways to bridge to your high-end ERP systems? Supply Insight really is one of the best "bang fo the bucks" in RFID software.
Element ID is a small business out of Bethlehem, PA that designs and manufactures high performance readers and specialty industrial automation equipment. We have been working with them for years, and they continue to set the standard for durability and flexibility in RFID readers.
We have collaborated with Vanguard ID for some time, and we rely on them to make us HF and UHF tags that fit the need instead of settling for something that might do. When we needed a size-specific, functional, durable parachute tag, they delivered – and it was fun to work with them.
Evigia is a small Radio Frequency Identification laboratory located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We are currently working with Evigia on several projects, including integrated weapons tracking programs, and developing new RFID tags that incorporate technology that counts the number of rounds fired by the weapon - all in a passive RFID tag about the size of a quarter.
B2 Research, LLC is a Biotech and Professional Services organization located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania providing innovative therapies and solutions in regenerative health care research. They have a great team and an extended "family" of medical researchers. Just don't ask what Midstream and B2 collaborate on, we are not supposed to discuss it anyway.
